We are beyond excited to celebrate a 13 years of Living Thankfully!
Since 2012, Live Thankfully has empowered thousands of young learners to be leaders and lifelong contributors in our Fort Worth community, while instilling dignity and pride in those we serve.
Live Thankfully has entered into a new season. We are super excited about the potential impact this will have on the students in our schools and their immediate communities. In 2020 and 2021 we modified our programs due to covid. We established smaller service opportunities within our LT schools that allowed students to continue to serve and families to still receive meals and groceries. We discovered that keeping our service projects within our participating schools gave more students the opportunity to give-back and allowed us to eliminate many challenging operational logistics. Through Live Thankfully, our school communities have become stronger. Many are self-sustaining and no longer need our full attention to operate the Live Thankfully programs. We celebrate this!
In November our LT schools will host food drives on their school campuses along with small packaging parties. Students will collect, sort and bag groceries that will be distributed to families within their school community. These individual campus events will replace the large community packaging parties that we sponsored in the past. We understand that this may come as a disappointment to many community volunteers. We too will miss packing bags of food alongside our many faithful volunteers. Please contact us if you desire more information about supporting our students or volunteering in a different capacity within a local LT school.
Thank you for your lavished love and gracious generosity throughout the years. We could not have done any of this without your faithful support and encouragement. We look forward to what the Lord will continue to do in our Fort Worth community as we choose to LIVE THANKFULLY in the individual ways that He leads us.
Please join us in celebrating a 13 years of Live Thankfully.
